he said the offense in boston are reminded to remain vigilant and report anything to law- enforcement agencies. >> a 12 year-old bay area boy named karen hern was heard in the boston marathon blast. there are pictures of the boy posted by his mother katherine hern . the boy's father, alan hrn is the varsity football coach of ashambra high school in martinez and was in boston with his family. the boy's mother ran in the race. the family from martinez was close to the explosion and coach hern son was hit by some shrapnel. the principal released a statement in part it says " the family is safe, and we

>> we are back. it is for 10. taking a look at wall street this morning. futures trading shows all three indexes pocket this morning after the worst day of the year yesterday. here's a look at the closing numbers. the dow fell to under 65 points to close at 14,599. >> the 1.8% drop was its worst since november. >> the nasdaq fell 78 points to 3002 much 16. >> the s&p 500 fell 36 points to close at 1552. we will be watching the stock market opening bell at 630. at this point it looks like futures trading is positive

>> we are backed at 414. >> san francisco police are on high alert following the terror attack at the boston marathon. the fbi has assured san francisco police there no specific threats to san francisco or the bay area at large. but patrol officers are still being asked to be extra vigilant in areas where large crowd gathered. police say, the move is a precaution they're asking the public to be especially alert and report any suspicious activity by calling 911. >> san francisco mayor ed lee issue is residents and visitors that san francisco is safe. san francisco is to host a number of big community event that includes the up coming in bay to breakers race on may 19th. >> the mayor says, security remains a top priority. >> public safety is a number one thing i will pay attention to. we have to look at everything with these events and everything
